Nominated for the National Dance Awards 2022 for Best Independent Dance Company, Amina Khayyam Dance Company (AKDC) makes touring dance theatre work using the South Asian dance, Kathak as the core narrative. It works in collaboration with those who are culturally least engaged, economically challenged and societally disenfranchised - with a focus on the marginalised female voice.
2023 marks 10 years of the Company in which we have made 15 pieces of work, performed over 150 performances across 40 venues & digital platforms.
Having recently been successful in our application to become a National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England, we are now looking for talented, exceptional, highly motivated people to join us for our next ten years of ambition!

GENERAL MANAGER (£32,000- 38,000 pa)
The General Manager is responsible for the day to day running of AKDC
Working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Producer, they will manage AKDC’s operational and administrative systems to ensure the smooth delivery of the artistic, participation and special projects as well as the effective running of the organisation itself.
