AKDC STUDIO : A place to immerse yourself in Kathak – whether you are an emerging professional or taking first steps to acquire bespoke training.
TOURING | performance opportunity
We believe touring is an essential part of any professional dance development. We regularly tour our productions nationally to various scaled venues as well as the outdoors.
Spread throughout the year, our intense studio workshops will develop your stamina and strength as well expose you to various dance styles to train your resilience to be ready for variable choreography
From award winning dance artists, often accompanied by live tabla, not only will you acquire basics of Kathak technique - but also develop progressions of storytelling, character development and movement - which have become hallmark of AKDC’s Kathak.
