Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, AKDC offers bespoke Kathak training from award winning dance artists, often accompanied by live tabla.

Not only will you acquire basics of Kathak technique - but develop progressions of storytelling, character development and movement - which have become hallmark of AKDC’s Kathak.

Discover Kathak's tools and vocabularies and develop skills to enhance and connect to your potential and expression, through a dance form that has been flourishing and evolving in the UK over the last five decades,and for centuries in the Indian sub-continent.

Learn the techniques (Nritta) of footwork, rhythm, movement and pirouettes to engage, challenge, empower and energise the BODY.

Delve into storytelling using the method of abhinaya, an expression through narrative (Nritya), for a holistic use of gestures, self-expression and text to arouse the MIND.
