AKDC completes making of A THOUSAND FACES to start rehearsals for YERMA Autumn Tour


After completing the reworking of A THOUSAND FACES for its premiere at mac Birmingham on 27th Nov last week, the company has had to turn around fast to prepare for Yerma which sees launch of its Autumn tour in Newcastle hosted by Gem Arts, before taking Yerma to its origins in Andalusia - Malaga 31st October.  Woking and Brighton are next destinations before a long trek to the NCPA Festival on Dec 5th in Mumbai.
 
In A Thousand Faces, Amina has been working closely with L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq trained Harmage S. Kalirai on finding common approaches to European mime and Kathak’s Abhinaya.  The production will also boast the haunting vocals of Lucy Rahman and those of Amrit Kaur Lohia, alongside her Sarangi.
